About Me
Hi, I'm Henry and I am a theatre critic based in East London. I write under Longstaff Reviews and on occasion for London Theatre Reviews. As well as reviewing, I am an assessor for the Off West End Awards (Offies), championing small and medium sized productions in London.

I intend to write fair and rounded reviews of the productions I am fortunate to see - always seeking the positive intentions from those involved whilst remaining honest and open-minded. I recognise the trials involved in standing up a piece of work and look to celebrate the creations of those doing innovative, interesting and challenging performances as best as I can.
By day I am a delivery manager (sort of technical project manager) working in the world of streaming, but I spend much of my spare time at the theatre. Previous to writing reviews I co-hosted and produced The Adlib Podcast which launched at York Theatre Royal and was lucky enough to interview guests from across the industry including the likes of Mischief Theatre, Emma Rice and Nick Hern Books along with many others. I was also head of marketing and communications at the TakeOver Festival in York for two years.

Please do have a read of my past reviews and if you would like to have me review your show do drop me an email or message.

All the best,
Henry
